The egg coffee is worth ordering. The location is central enough that you’ll stumble past it anyway. Hours have been inconsistent lately – it’s been closing around 4:30 PM some days, which ruins it for anyone counting on an evening session. Confirm hours before you make it your afternoon destination.
The book selection is thin for a place billing itself as a book cafe, and the staff have a habit of turning off the air conditioning without asking – which, in a Hoi An summer, is not a minor inconvenience. There’s also a door-slamming problem that the staff seem content to ignore no matter how many times customers bring it up. If you’re in the mood to actually browse shelves, go elsewhere. If you just need a cold seat and a coffee in a central spot, it works – arrive early and keep your expectations calibrated accordingly.
