Hand Coffee
Description
Hand Coffee is a proper local spot – the kind where Vietnamese regulars pack in for their morning fix and you feel like you’ve actually found somewhere real. The salted coffee and yoghurt coffee are the moves here, both done well enough that people show up two mornings running without much deliberation.
It sits opposite a bank on what is a convenient corner if you’re already in the area for errands. The space is clean, the staff are friendly, and the coffee is strong in the way Vietnamese coffee should be.
Fair warning: the English menu runs 5-10k VND higher than the Vietnamese one, and foreigners tend to miss out on the complimentary tea that locals get with their order. It’s a small thing, but worth knowing before you sit down.
