9 Grains Bakery and Cafe
Description
A proper Western-style bakery cafe doing the things that are hard to find well-executed in Hoi An: real sourdough, decent eggs benedict, and fresh-squeezed orange juice that actually tastes like oranges. The avocado toast with feta and poached eggs is the move here, and portions are generous enough that you won’t be hunting for a second breakfast an hour later.
The coconut iced coffee has apparently impressed people who’ve been drinking their way through Vietnam for months, which is a notable data point. Seating is either air-conditioned inside or shaded outside, so it’s usable even in the sweaty middle of the day.
Free juice comes with a meal order (good deal, zero catches as far as anyone can tell). They’re also on Grab if you’d rather eat sourdough toast in your guesthouse in peace.
