Description

RAW Coffee & FooD does egg coffee properly – balanced, rich, and not drowned in sugar the way some places do it. The coconut coffee and avocado smoothie are also worth ordering, and the espresso-based drinks are solid enough that you won’t feel like you’re settling for tourist-grade coffee.

The croissants are fresh and pair well with whatever you’re drinking (the ham and cheese version gets specific praise, which is rare enough to mean something). The interior is calm and comfortable, which matters on a street that apparently has serious traffic noise outside.

Consistency isn’t perfect – at least one iced mocha arrived as watered-down milk rather than anything resembling what was advertised. Stick to what the place clearly does well: Vietnamese-style specialty coffees and the pastries.

Highlights

Insider Tip
Order the egg coffee or coconut coffee - these are what the place actually nails. Skip the blended iced drinks unless you're feeling lucky.

- Fresh croissants that hold up as a real food order, not an afterthought
- Calm, comfortable indoor atmosphere with good music

Cons
- Blended/iced drinks can be inconsistent - at least one mocha arrived as thin, watery milk
