Families and small groups traveling together do well here too, since the rooms run spacious and the staff handle extra requests without fuss.
Rooms are clean, comfortable and well soundproofed, with reliable hot water and good pressure in the bathrooms – useful after a day out in the heat. Free bikes are provided for getting into town, and the pool stays quiet enough to swim laps or work out undisturbed most of the day. Ask for Lang or Nhung (Rose) – both go well out of their way to sort out anything you need, from bike routes to laundry.
The rice-field views at sunrise and sunset are the real draw, and the price feels fair for the space and service you get. Humidity can build up in the rooms during the wetter months, so pack accordingly or ask about a dehumidifier. One long-stay guest had a bad run with laundry damage, so for extended stays it’s worth clarifying laundry policy up front rather than assuming.
