Double Cat Bar is the kind of An Bang Beach spot that earns its reputation drink by drink. The cocktails are good – the chocolate martini and mojito get called out repeatedly, and the aperol spritz apparently holds up too. Happy hour prices make it easy to stay longer than you planned (which is probably the point).
The food pulls its weight beyond just bar snacks. Teriyaki chicken skewers, dumplings, and spring rolls are all worth ordering, and free peanuts show up with your drinks without you having to ask. The street-side seating is ideal for watching An Bang’s easy pace roll by with something cold in hand.
The staff and owner seem to like their customers, which sounds obvious but isn’t always the case. Clean bathrooms get mentioned more than once across reviews (a low bar, but apparently not everyone clears it).
