Silk Road is the kind of tailor where you walk in for one pair of shorts and leave with a full wardrobe. Owner Mung runs a tight operation – bring photos of what you want replicated and her team will have it ready same day or overnight, which matters a lot when you’re only in Hoi An for a few days.

The standout here is Mung herself. She’s made multiple trips to hotels in Da Nang (an hour each way, in her own time) to handle fittings and adjustments. That’s not something most tailors will do, and it tells you everything about how seriously they take the finished product.

They work across everything from satin sets and kimonos to full suits, and if something doesn’t fit right the first time, they remake it rather than argue about it. Fabric selection is solid, pricing is fair, and the whole shop has a genuinely social atmosphere – multiple reviewers mention laughing their way through fittings.
