Thom’s Sourdough Bakery & Coffee
Description
A proper sourdough bakery that somehow ended up at Tan Thanh beach, which is exactly as good as it sounds. The bread is the real draw – ciabatta, banh mi loaves, croutons – made with actual fermented dough, not the soft white stuff passing as bread everywhere else in town. The chicken pesto panini and avocado toast (bigger than it looks, comes with a side salad) are the orders to make.

Insider Tip
Order the salt coffee iced - it has a faint caramel flavor that works surprisingly well with the avocado toast, and it's one of the better versions of the drink you'll find near the beach.
Pros
- Real sourdough in multiple forms: loaves, ciabatta, banh mi bread, croutons
- Food portions are generous for what you pay
