Nhà Hàng Biển An Bàng- Hùng Restaurant Seafood
Description
A family-run seafood spot right on An Bang Beach, smaller and cheaper than the big operations flanking it. The grilled blood cockles (sò huyết) are the standout order – fresh, fatty, and cooked right so they stay tender. The owner is famously honest, turning away crab that wasn’t up to standard rather than selling it anyway (a rarer quality than it should be).
Service can be slow and occasionally prickly if your order is too small for their liking. The beach seating comes with a fee on top of your meal bill, so factor that in before you get comfortable on one of those green beach beds.
Best approached for a proper seafood lunch rather than a quick snack stop. The lobster platter for two gets consistent praise, and the razor clams (couteaux) are worth ordering if you see them on the board.
