The Surf & Turf Restaurant
Description
A beachfront restaurant in Hoi An that earns its name – the surf and turf platter (two lobsters, a big steak, sides, and a bottle of wine) is the move here, and it delivers. Sit outside under the stars when the weather cooperates, or take the air-conditioned inside option when it doesn’t. The setting does a lot of the heavy lifting, but the food backs it up.
Beyond the food, the setup functions more like a beach club – guests get towel service and shower access after a swim, with chairs overlooking the water for drinks before or after your meal. It’s the kind of place where you can spend a full afternoon and not feel rushed. Management (ask for Oscar or Max) is hands-on and will help plan group meals or celebrations without making it a production.
The Vietnamese-style starter dishes are reasonably priced and worth ordering alongside the mains. The tenderloin gets its own fan club among regulars. A live band plays some nights (variable quality, but it adds to the atmosphere).

- Beach access with towels and showers included
- Staff and management are attentive and good at handling groups
