Gardens spa
Description
Gardens Spa is a mixed bag, but when it works, it really works. The staff are consistently warm and the space has a genuinely relaxed atmosphere – a few reviewers called their massages among their best ever, specifically praising therapist Luong by name.
The problem is consistency. Some therapists phone it in (occasionally literally), sticking to the same repetitive motion for an entire session while ignoring whole sections of your body. If you land the right person, great. If you don’t, you’ll know within ten minutes.
There are also reports of aggressive street touting and some cleanliness issues with linens. Pay in cash if you can – the card machine has a habit of being conveniently broken.
