HealthFit Gym & Yoga Center Hoi An
Description
Rice-field views line the treadmill row at HealthFit, giving cardio sessions a far better outlook than four blank walls. The floor is spacious, airy, and divided into clear zones for weights, machines, mat work, boxing, and climbing. Equipment covers a full workout, though the treadmills show their age.
Yoga, kickboxing, boxing, climbing, massage, and personal training sit alongside the gym floor. Kickboxing with Mr Tien brings a high-energy group class, while Queen and Coa are strong picks for focused training sessions. Yoga instruction is largely in Vietnamese, so follow-the-demonstration confidence helps.
Protein shakes and coffee are available on the patio, which faces the fields and gives post-workout time a calmer setting. The gym can get busy, yet the open layout leaves room for mat work and avoids the packed feel of smaller local gyms.
Classes run hot. Air conditioning is not consistently used, and the rice-field setting can bring farm smells through open windows. HealthFit earns its place for training variety and that long green view from the cardio line.

It’s a good gym with a few quirks.
On the plus side, it’s good equipment, lots of space and plenty of equipment. It’s a decent workout for a decent price (definitely more expensive than their neighbors, but still reasonable).
A couple things that bother me – it’s very hot in there. Sure they have a lot of fans going, but that’s nothing against the midday Hoi An heat. Today I nearly overheated. Also some equipment in in kgs (dumbbells, plates), and some is in lbs (machines, cables). Not a huge issue, just be sure you’re calculating everything properly.
