Floating Boat 127 Restaurant Hoi An
Description
A family-run restaurant on an actual boat moored a short walk from the Old Town center. The river setting is legitimately good – double-decker, cushioned seats, decorated vendor boats drifting past – and it costs almost nothing extra for all of that atmosphere.
The food is solid Vietnamese done with care, and the prices are low enough that you’ll double-check the bill. Vietnamese wine appears on the menu and is worth ordering (yes, really – try it before you laugh at the idea).
The family doesn’t speak much English, which hasn’t stopped anyone from having a good meal here. Come to eat, not to camp with a sketchbook and a single tea order.
