MANGO MANGO
Description
Mango Mango sits right on the river in the old town, and the upstairs terrace at the front is one of the better dinner seats in Hoi An – lantern-lit water, night market energy nearby, open kitchen downstairs. This is the place you book when someone visiting wants to feel like they’re really in Hoi An.
The food leans Vietnamese with some creative detours that mostly work. The red snapper and five-spiced pork get mentioned repeatedly, and the passion fruit brûlée is the dessert you didn’t know you needed. Presentation is taken seriously here.
Prices are noticeably higher than the surrounding streets, so set your expectations accordingly. This is a splurge dinner, not a casual lunch stop.
