Bamboo Restaurant and Coffee
Description
Bamboo Restaurant and Coffee does the basics well: fresh food, fast service, and staff who actually speak English. It sits somewhere between a full meal spot and a coffee stop, with both air-con seating and an outdoor area draped in bougainvillea that looks better than it has any right to.
The menu covers Vietnamese staples and does them with enough flavour to keep you coming back. Vegetarians are well catered for here, which is not always a given in Hoi An. Prices are fair for what you get.
One honest note: skip the snakehead fish. It sounds exciting on the menu and it is not. Everything else on the set menus for two is solid.
