Description
A beachside burger spot at An Bang that takes its SpongeBob theme seriously enough to name menu items after characters, but not so seriously that the food suffers. The Bikini Bottom Burger and Classic Double Double are the moves here – properly sized, fast out of the kitchen, and the crispy pickles with sriracha mayo are worth ordering as a standalone snack.
The poutine is good (rare in Vietnam, nearly unheard of at a beach shack), and the creamy cocktail selection fills a gap that most An Bang spots ignore entirely. Staff are notably attentive even when slammed.
Stick to the burgers and bar snacks and you’ll be happy. The eggs Benedict and Caesar salad are reaching a bit – the kitchen clearly has a comfort zone and it’s not brunch classics.
