This is a backpacker-adjacent property that happens to have private rooms, and those private rooms are spacious and clean (the dorm crowd and the private room crowd share the same pool, which is either fun or your nightmare depending on your age and mood). Music cuts at 23:00, so it’s loud until then and quiet after – a reasonable deal if you’re here to meet people, less so if you’re not.
The flood note from local reviewers is real: Cam Nam gets inundated during rainy season (roughly October to November), so book accordingly. The massage is skippable. Everything else, including the front desk team, earns its reputation.
