Moire Hoi An, Vignette Collection by IHG
Description
Moire sits on the Thu Bon riverbank about a three-minute walk from the Ancient Town via a small footbridge – close enough to everything without the noise of being inside the old town itself. The river views from the premium rooms are worth paying up for, and the Yellow Bicycle restaurant at night, watching the market across the water, is a solid reason to eat in at least once.
The staff are the real differentiator here. Specific names come up repeatedly in reviews (Rin, Anthony, Tom), which tells you something about the consistency of the team rather than just luck of the draw. Breakfast is well-regarded and included in most rate packages.
Fair warning on layout: the gym and breakfast room require a bit of a walk and a road crossing from the main building. Not a dealbreaker, just mildly annoying if you are expecting everything under one roof. The villas with private pools overlooking the river are the obvious upgrade pick if budget allows.
Highlights

- Location puts you a short walk from the Ancient Town without the street noise
- Breakfast earns regular praise across reviews
- Some reviewers feel room size and overall amenities don't fully justify the price point at the top end of the rate range
