Description
Vĩ Bread does one thing and does it right: a banh mi so well-loaded with flavour that people come back the same day for seconds. The bread is properly crispy, the fillings are generous, and at 30,000 VND a sandwich it’s one of the better deals you’ll find in Hoi An.
The pork is the default order, but the owner will tell you to get both pork and chicken – listen to them. The chilli sauce is the detail that separates this from the forgettable versions you’ve already eaten.
Service is genuinely warm in the way that isn’t performed for tips. They’ve been known to offer chairs just so you have somewhere to put your bags while you eat standing in the heat.
