Zen Boutique sits about 1km from the Ancient Town – close enough to walk in 15 minutes, far enough that you’ll actually sleep. The rooms are large by Hoi An standards, with proper bathrooms (bathtub plus shower), small terraces or balconies on the better room types, and a pool on-site. It punches above its price point without trying too hard.

The staff here are the main reason people come back. Huong and Nhi at reception give genuinely useful local tips on restaurants and tailors (not just the places that pay referral fees, apparently). They’ll store your luggage on checkout day without making you feel like an inconvenience.

Breakfast covers both Asian and Western options with fresh fruit and passion fruit juice. Nothing elaborate, but consistent and included. Good base for couples or anyone who wants a calm neighborhood over being in the thick of the tourist strip.
