Description

Cua Dai is Hoi An’s closest beach, about 5km from the Old Town and reachable by bicycle in under 30 minutes. It’s not the flashiest stretch of coast in Vietnam, but that’s exactly the point – calm water, white sand, and a low-key atmosphere that rewards anyone wanting a proper afternoon off rather than a scene.

Sunsets here are legitimately good. The light hits the water in a way that makes the whole place feel quieter than it already is, which is saying something.

Sunbeds and parking are cheap (three beds for 200,000 VND is the going rate). Bring cash, come on a weekday if you can, and plan to stay longer than you think you need to.
