25s Cafe & Brunch
Description
25s takes coffee more seriously than most places in Hoi An, which is saying something. They stock two light roast options, cover all the classic Vietnamese preparations, and – unusually for Vietnam – actually offer decaf (a small miracle if you’re caffeine-sensitive but still want to sit somewhere nice for an hour).
The food side is solid brunch territory: croissants, egg dishes, smoothies done properly. The mango-banana smoothie leans rich rather than sweet, which is the right call. Note that the blue pea drink comes unsweetened by default, so ask for sugar on the side if you want it.
The atmosphere is calm enough that it works as a walking-break stop or a slow morning start. Service has been inconsistent by a few accounts, so go in without expectations of being fussed over.
Highlights
- One of the very few places in Vietnam offering decaf
- Food quality is good, with attention to detail that shows
- Smoothies are well-made and not over-sweetened
- Blue pea drink arrives unsweetened with no warning, which catches people off guard
