3 Dragons Sports Bar & Restaurant
Description
The go-to spot when you need to watch actual sport in Hoi An. Different screens show different channels simultaneously, so you’re not stuck watching whatever the majority voted for (a rare mercy). Staff are efficient and the setup handles a crowd without feeling chaotic.
The food punches above what you’d expect from a sports bar. The chicken parma on Tuesday – buy one get a half serve free – is good, and if you’re from Argentina you’ll recognise it immediately as milanesa napolitana. That’s not an accident, that’s a solid kitchen.
Wine drinkers get an unusually fair deal here. Proper measured pours at prices that won’t make you wince, plus a cold towel on arrival (small thing, earns goodwill every time). Service can get patchy if you’re seated out in the garden away from the main bar – you may need to flag someone down.
Highlights
- Wine is actually measured properly and reasonably priced by Hoi An standards
- Food quality is a genuine step above typical sports bar fare
- Staff are attentive and service is efficient at the bar
- Slightly pricier than some other spots in town, though in line with the Old Town generally
