92 station restaurant & cafe
Description
A multi-story cafe on the edge of the old town where the point is the rooftop, full stop. Order at the ground floor first (yes, you have to order before browsing – they’re firm about this), then climb up through progressively better views until you hit the top looking out over the ancient tile rooftops.
The salted coffee and coconut coffee are the drinks to get. Prices are reasonable for what is essentially a view tax dressed up as a beverage.
The owners have a reputation for being genuinely decent people – one reviewer got food poisoning elsewhere and was allowed to lie down and recover for an hour. That kind of thing is worth something.
