Amina Lantana Hoi An Hotel & Spa
Description
Amina Lantana sits in a sweet spot just outside the Old Town noise bubble, which is either a feature or a bug depending on your sleep preferences. The pool looks inviting, breakfast and dinner get specific praise (not just the usual ‘food was great’), and the rooms are on the spacious side for what you’d expect at this price point in Hoi An.
The staff here are the main event. Multiple guests called out Thai San, John, and Tracy by name, which tells you something – people don’t bother doing that unless someone went out of their way. They brief you properly on arrival rather than just handing over a key and pointing at the elevator.
Getting to the Old Town is a non-issue. There’s a shuttle service, bikes to borrow, and it’s walkable if you’re not precious about 10-15 minutes on foot. Honestly, the slight distance from the tourist core is probably why you’ll sleep better here than at something right on Tran Phu.
