Bien Cua Dai Restaurant & Sunbeds
Description
Bien Cua Dai sits on a quieter stretch of Cua Dai beach where the sand is cleaner and the crowd thins out considerably. Most visitors here are foreigners who’ve figured out the locals go elsewhere, which tells you something about the vibe. Sunbeds with umbrellas run 50,000-100,000 VND depending on who you ask (negotiate before you sit).
The food is solid rather than exceptional – grilled shrimp, noodle soup, burgers, cold coconuts, cold beer. Nothing will blow your mind, but the noodles are light on oil and the coffee gets mentioned more than once. Drinks are the weak spot according to a few people, so stick to the basics.
The owner is genuinely friendly and the whole setup is relaxed. If you want a beach day without music, vendors in your face, or crowds, this is a reasonable base. Rip currents are a real issue at Cua Dai generally, so check conditions before swimming.
