Suong runs this small tailoring shop with the kind of patience that makes even picky customers leave happy. She works across a solid range of garments – trousers, dresses, shirts, kimonos, full silk sets – and gets the fit right the first time more often than not (which is not a given in Hoi An).
Prices come in noticeably lower than many shops on the tourist circuit, and the silk work in particular gets called out repeatedly. If something isn’t perfect, she’ll redo the alterations until it is.
