Café Slow Hội An
Description
Café Slow sits facing the vegetable fields on the edge of the old town, and that setting is the whole point. You come here to watch farmers work while drinking good coffee – not to rush through a quick cup before hitting the Ancient Town crowds. The name is a mission statement.
The coffee selection goes beyond the usual Vietnamese options. They stock Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, which tells you something about how seriously they take sourcing (though order a double if you want real punch). Chị Hà runs the front of house and will actually walk you through what’s on offer.
Come in the morning or late afternoon. Midday gets hot out there in the garden seating, and the mosquitoes tend to show up for lunch too. The caramel pudding is worth ordering.
