CocoPlus earns its reputation on Central Vietnamese classics done with care – the beef pancake in particular gets talked about a lot, and the bamboo and pottery interior is pleasant rather than tourist-trap decorative. Prices sit above street food level, which is fair given the setting and the cooking.
The pho has apparently gone through a format change since 2023, now served in a blazing hot stone bowl. Whether you see that as an upgrade or an unnecessary gimmick probably depends on how traditional you want your bowl. Either way, the broth quality seems to have held up.
Service is the one thing that divides people here – some find the staff warm and attentive, others report the opposite. It seems to vary by shift or by luck (the restaurant gods are fickle like that), so go in with moderate expectations on that front.
