Coffee Xóm Chiêu
Description
A cafe sitting right on the edge of rice fields outside the old town, best reached by bicycle. The coconut coffee is the thing to order, and the smoothies – particularly the mango, passion fruit, and coconut cream – are legitimately good rather than tourist-trap good.
The whole point of coming here is to sit still for a while. Shaded seating, a breeze off the fields, and staff who will lend you a rice hat for photos without making it weird. (They clearly understand their clientele.)
This is not a place for getting work done or catching up with a group. It is a place for two people or one person who wants quiet and has nowhere to be.
