A no-frills com binh dan (everyday rice joint) run by a friendly local Hoi An family. The menu is wider than you’d expect for a small place – fried rice, pork ribs with egg, fried chicken wings – and portions are genuinely filling at prices that start around 30,000 VND.

The cơm sườn trứng (pork rib and egg over rice) is the repeat-order dish here, with at least one couple coming back multiple times for exactly that. Food comes out fast, the place is clean, and they’ll deliver via Grab with soup and cutlery included (which beats a lot of bigger restaurants on that front).

This is the kind of spot locals actually eat lunch at on a Tuesday – not somewhere optimized for tourists, which is exactly why the food tastes the way it does.
