Description

An open-air gym on the outskirts of Hoi An that does exactly what it needs to do: weights, machines, punching bag, and a daily pass that costs less than a banh mi combo. The outdoor setup with a roof means decent airflow, which matters more than air conditioning when you’re moving around anyway.

Dumbbells go up to 30kg, there are enough machines and benches to get a real session in, and they throw in a free towel with your day pass. It gets a bit tight during peak hours, but if you time it right, you’ll often have the place mostly to yourself.

At 40,000 VND for a day pass, it undercuts the more popular gym across town by a meaningful margin. One note: the leg press has a poor hip-to-leg angle that multiple people have flagged, so skip that one and use the free weights instead.

Highlights

Insider Tip
Go mid-morning on a weekday and you'll have the place almost to yourself - avoid late afternoon when it gets tight and the karaoke from somewhere nearby apparently kicks in around Tet season.

- Open-air covered setup gives good airflow without needing AC
- Free towel included with entry, 5,000 VND water bottles on site
- Solid range of equipment: dumbbells to 30kg, machines, benches, and a punching bag
Cons
- Gets cramped during peak times
- The leg press machine has a poor hip-to-leg ratio - multiple people have called it out as badly designed
