Em’s House Homestay
Description
Em’s House sits close enough to the Old Town that you can walk everywhere, but on a quiet side street that keeps the noise out. The rooms are genuinely large by Hoi An standards, the bathrooms get good marks, and there’s a pool for the days when the heat gets serious.
Em herself is the main reason people extend their stays. She sends you a list of local recommendations on arrival, sorts out problems fast, and her staff clean the rooms daily without being asked. There’s an attached restaurant that handles breakfast and brunch well, with fresh smoothies worth ordering.
One thing to know before you book: room quality varies more than the photos suggest. The Superior Double has been flagged for no windows and a musty smell, so ask specifically about what you’re getting when you reserve.
