Hồ Lô quán
Description
Hồ Lô Quán is a straightforward Vietnamese restaurant in the old town that gets the classics right – white rose, bánh xèo, and tamarind shrimp are the dishes people come back for (and several reviewers did come back, which says more than any menu description). The owner will show you how to eat things properly if you look confused, which is useful rather than condescending.
The room is simple and clean, AC runs strong, wifi is fast, and there are plenty of sockets. It draws a mixed crowd of Korean and European visitors, which is usually a decent indicator that a place isn’t just coasting on one market’s expectations.
Portions are generous and prices sit below what you’d pay in Da Nang city for similar food. Card payments are accepted but carry a 5% surcharge, so bring cash if that bothers you.

- Generous portions that leave people full
- Friendly, welcoming staff who actively help with ordering
