Hoi An Beach Resort
Description
A proper beach resort sitting right on An Bang Beach, about 5km from the Old Town. Two pools, spacious rooms, and a private beach across the road make this a legitimate base if you want sand and sea without sacrificing comfort. The grounds are well-kept and the staff consistently get called out by name in reviews (Diem and Vi, specifically – that’s the kind of thing that matters).
Breakfast is a genuine highlight here. Fresh, plentiful, and changed up enough that two weeks of it doesn’t feel like punishment. The gym is functional enough that guests are actually using it daily, which is more than you can say for most resort gyms in this price bracket.
One practical note: construction work starts at 7am, so if sleeping past sunrise is important to you, ask about room placement when you book. The laundry service has also had some complaints – better to use one of the many laundry shops in town for anything you actually care about.
