A straightforward lantern shop where you can pick up the silk lanterns that make Hoi An look like Hoi An. Staff are friendly and will work with you even when stock is limited – one reviewer couldn’t get the orange lantern they wanted and the shop sorted out a solution on the spot.
The interior was mid-reorganization when some visitors dropped by, so don’t expect a perfectly styled showroom. What you do get is direct service without the tour agency markup that inflates prices elsewhere in the old town.
Good for anyone who wants to bring home an actual piece of the town rather than a fridge magnet. Yellow and orange are the classic picks (the yellow ones photograph better, for what it’s worth).
