Horizon Hotel by LunaVerde Hoi An
Description
A clean, well-run hotel sitting about 1km north of the Old Town – close enough to walk in 15 minutes, far enough to actually sleep at night. Rooms are properly soundproofed despite being street-facing, the pool is well-maintained, and housekeeping shows up consistently (not a given at this price point).
The staff are the real reason people extend their stays. Khanh at reception gets name-checked repeatedly, and the team generally treats problems as things to solve rather than things to apologize about. Breakfast runs à la carte with solid fruit options.
Free bicycles are available, which changes the whole equation – An Bang Beach and the rice fields are suddenly easy afternoon trips rather than logistical projects. Formerly operated as The Prince Hotel, for anyone who stayed there and is wondering if it’s the same place.
Highlights
- Rooms are clean and match the photos (rare enough to be worth mentioning)
- Free bicycles make the beach and rice fields accessible
- Good breakfast with à la carte options and plenty of fruit
- 45 reviews is a thin sample size, so the consistency record is harder to judge than at busier properties
