Description
La Bottega is doing the best wood-fired pizza in Hoi An, and if you’ve spent any time in Italy you’ll notice the dough is the real deal – proper char, good chew, not the sad flat disc you get at lesser places. The carbonara also gets consistent praise, which is a harder thing to fake than people think.
Live music most evenings makes this a pleasant place to sit with an Aperol Spritz and pretend you’re not in Southeast Asia. The staff are friendly and the vibe is relaxed enough to linger.
Service timing can be chaotic when they’re busy, and the kitchen occasionally stumbles on execution (the caprese has disappointed more than one table). Go when you’re not starving and not in a rush.
