La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa
Description
La Siesta sits just outside the old town proper, which means rice field views from your balcony instead of a view of another hotel. The colonial architecture is attractive, the pools are multiple and good, and the breakfast buffet is the kind that makes you skip lunch without regret.
The staff here are the real reason people come back four times (and yes, multiple reviewers are on their fourth visit). Names like Hang, San, and Ty come up repeatedly – that’s not coincidence, that’s a hotel that actually trains and retains people who care.
The on-site cooking class is worth booking even if you’re not usually a cooking class person. Private sessions are available, and chef Ty in particular gets called out by name for making it fun rather than a tourist checkbox.
Highlights
- Pools and breakfast buffet are consistently praised as among the best in Hoi An
- Room quality is high, especially suites with balconies facing the rice fields
- Colonial architecture and grounds are well-maintained and feel boutique despite the resort size
- Reviews are overwhelmingly positive, which makes it hard to flag genuine weaknesses (take that as a mild warning that expectations will be high when you arrive)
