LaMy is a family-run shop that handles serious volume without dropping the ball – wedding suits, silk dresses, linen sets, and formal shirts all in the same order, often ready within 24 hours. The staff (ask for Daphne or Lien) are good at translating a phone photo or a vague idea into something that fits, and they’ll iterate until it does.
They’ll take on styles other tailors in town turn down, which tells you something useful about their confidence level. Prices are reasonable for the quality of fabric and construction you’re getting (wool-cashmere suits included).
If you’re short on time, tell them upfront – they’ve repeatedly delivered full orders with alterations for guests leaving in a day or two. That’s not luck, that’s just how they operate.
