People come for two nights and end up staying a week because of how well they’re looked after here.
Rooms are simple but spotless, with working AC, quiet fridges, good Wi-Fi and lighting, and ensuite bathrooms with glass shower partitions. Breakfast is included daily and covers fruit, eggs, and bread, simple but consistently tasty, not a buffet spread. Free bicycles are provided for getting into town, which takes about 10-15 minutes on foot or 5-6 minutes by bike. Laundry service is available and comes back smelling notably good.
What sets this place apart is the family running it, Mr T and Tao, who treat guests like extended family rather than customers and go well out of their way with local advice and genuine hospitality. Rooms are up a set of steep stairs and views from the windows are plain, so it’s not ideal for anyone with hip or knee trouble. Skip it if you need to be right in the center of Hoi An, otherwise it’s one of the better bases in town.
