Little HaNoi Egg Coffee
Description
Little HaNoi brings Hanoi-style egg coffee to Hoi An, and they do it better than most places that have been serving it for decades. The egg coffee is thick, custardy, and properly made – not the watery, disappointing version you’ll find at tourist traps nearby. The egg matcha is worth ordering just to say you had it.
The menu goes beyond coffee. Mango toast and avocado toast with eggs and salmon show up repeatedly in what people actually finish and wish they’d ordered more of. Prices are low enough that ordering two rounds of anything doesn’t require a moment of thought.
The room has AC, which in Hoi An afternoon heat is not a minor detail – it’s the reason you stay an extra hour. The second floor is quieter and good for anyone who brought a laptop. Staff (ask for Nga) are helpful and will riff on custom drink combinations if you’re feeling experimental.
Highlights
- AC inside makes it a reliable escape from afternoon heat
- Staff are friendly and accommodating, including experimenting with custom drink orders
- Food like mango toast and avocado toast punches well above the price point
- Coconut coffee smoothie can get watery if it sits, so drink it fast
