Chef Tran Thanh Duc runs this kitchen in a restored traditional Hoi An house with yellow walls, named after his daughter. It suits anyone who wants proper Vietnamese cooking with a view, whether that’s a table on the second floor over the Thu Bon River or a seat in the pedestrian zone watching Old Town go by. Couples looking for a nicer dinner and groups wanting to share plates both do well here.
Order the White Rose dumplings and Cao Lau for the Hoi An classics, or go for the shrimp salad, grilled calamari, and shrimp wontons if you want something lighter and shareable. The chicken wings, pho, and banh mi all hold up too, and the cocktail list is strong enough to linger over. Happy hour runs 9am to 6pm, a long stretch that makes this a good midday stop as much as a dinner spot, and they take credit cards, which isn’t a given in Old Town.
