Mê Hội An Rooftop Coffee & Kitchen
Description
The rooftop at Mê Hội An is the whole point – views over the old town, a decent breeze in the evenings, and a gift shop downstairs selling the kind of things you’ll actually want to buy. Go up for the coconut coffee or egg coffee during the day, then decide if you want to stay for the sunset (you probably do).
The cocktails are a mixed bag. The coconut and tropical mojito options sound good on paper but have a reputation for arriving watered-down and late – which is a double disappointment. Stick to coffee, beer, or a cold drink and you’ll leave happy.
Service is slow and the ordering system requires some patience (you may need to physically go downstairs to order, which is exactly as annoying as it sounds). Come when you’re not in a hurry and treat the wait as part of the experience.
