Breakfast at the Botanic restaurant is a genuine highlight – freshly squeezed juices, Vietnamese and Western options, and enough variety that you won’t be eating the same thing twice across a week’s stay. The staff gets consistent praise across the board, which at this price point is the difference between a fine stay and one you’d actually book again.
The grounds photograph extremely well (one Italian reviewer felt the reality was slightly less dramatic than the images, which is fair enough). It suits people who want a peaceful base with pool afternoons rather than those who need to stumble home from bars at midnight.
