New Destination Hoi An Homestay
Description
A family-run homestay sitting out in the rice fields and rivers, 10-15 minutes from the Ancient Town by Grab or bike. This is not a hotel with a front desk – it is a family’s home, and that is exactly the point. Rooms are clean, have balconies, AC, and enough space to feel like you actually live somewhere for a few days.
Tuan speaks solid English and will sort bikes, activities, and local advice without you having to chase anyone down. The free bicycle rental is a legitimate perk – the surrounding countryside is flat and worth exploring. Breakfast is included but you may need to ask about it rather than wait for it to appear.
The trade-off for the quiet village setting is that you are not walking anywhere central. If you want to roll out of bed and be in the old town in two minutes, this is the wrong pick. If you want to feel like you are actually in Vietnam rather than a tourist corridor, it earns its price.
