Nhà hàng Hải Sản Bé Nhi
Description
A local seafood spot that does the basics well: fresh clams, scallops, crab, and shellfish cooked simply so the natural sweetness comes through. Three people eating four or five dishes – ốc hương, nghêu, sò bung, ghẹ, stir-fried noodles – lands around 900,000 VND, which is reasonable for this part of town.
The staff are friendly and will show you how to eat certain dishes properly, which is actually useful if you’re wrapping fish in leaves for the first time. Service slows down when it’s busy, and slow means slow (one reviewer waited 20 minutes for a spoon and gave up).
At least one reviewer was handed a higher-priced menu with fewer options. Worth checking that your menu matches what you see posted on Google before you order.
Highlights
- Pricing is fair for the area, especially for Vietnamese visitors eating local dishes
- Staff are friendly and helpful, including across language barriers
- Grilled scallops and steamed clams consistently get called out as the highlights
- Some foreign visitors report being given a separate menu with higher prices and fewer options than locals receive
