Nha luu tru Quynh Chau Hoi An
Description
A small family-run guesthouse a short walk from the Japanese Covered Bridge, where the owners are genuinely the main selling point. The place operates like a private home – simple check-in, clean rooms, and the lady of the house making your breakfast and coffee herself (the coffee gets called out specifically, for good reason).
Rooms have the basics covered: AC, TV, fridge, and they stay clean. There’s no elevator but they’ve rigged up a luggage pulley system, which tells you a lot about how hands-on these owners are. Noise between rooms can be hit or miss depending on your neighbors (luck of the draw).
The location puts you steps from the night market and an easy walk to the Old Town lantern shows. At this price point, it’s hard to argue with what you’re getting.
Highlights
- Rooms are clean and tidy across the board
- Location works well: night market nearly on the doorstep, Old Town walkable
- Breakfast made by the owner, with coffee that earns its own mentions
- Doors are locked after 11pm, so late nights out require planning ahead
