Olivier Coffee
Description
Olivier Coffee sits on the quieter Cam Nam Island side, away from the tourist crush, in a plant-filled space with misters and a European-inflected aesthetic that somehow works in the Vietnamese heat. The owners run this themselves and will actually talk you through the coffee – not in a sales pitch way, but because they care about the beans and how they’re roasted and blended.
The coffee leans strong and less sweet than the commercial spots around the old town (a feature, not a bug). The salted coffee, egg coffee, and classic ca phe sua da are the things to order – the coconut coffee also has a loyal following among repeat visitors.
This is the kind of place people come back to on their second trip to Hoi An and get recognized. That says more than any menu description could.

- Cool, plant-heavy space with misters - comfortable in the heat
- Multiple standout drinks: salted coffee, egg coffee, coconut coffee all get specific praise
- No consistent complaints emerge, but the quieter setting means it won't suit anyone wanting to be in the middle of the action
