Description

Poke bowls done properly in Hoi An, which is more of an achievement than it sounds. The teriyaki-style sauce is the move here – it ties the bowl together in a way that plain soy-based builds don’t.

The spicy bowl gets called out specifically, so start there if you like heat. Portion sizes are generous on everything except the sashimi, which runs light (order extra if raw fish is the whole point for you).

Not a quick-grab situation – service takes a bit, so don’t show up between a cyclo tour and a tailoring appointment expecting to be in and out.

Highlights

Insider Tip
Order extra sashimi from the start - the default amount gets lost in the bowl, and fixing it after the fact means another wait.
Pros
- The teriyaki-style sauce improves the bowls
- Spicy bowl is a standout, worth ordering by name
- Food quality is consistently good across visits
- High enough that people say they'd return despite minor complaints
Cons
'- Sashimi portions are stingy relative to the rest of the bowl
- Wait times can stretch past 20 minutes, even for poke (which is not a slow dish to assemble)
Best For
Solo traveler, Couples, Vegetarian friendly, Quick bite
